The John Lewis shopping app
I worked within the John Lewis mobile apps team for three years. For most of that time I focused on the John Lewis iPad app
(a lovely project). I also researched and designed the first stages of the universal John Lewis shopping app which will work across all iOS devices.
I'm happy to say that these projects meant I was involved in researching and designing everything from core shopping journeys, navigation, inspiration and account maintenance.
When necessary I ran 5 day Google style design sprints.

Ways of working
Whilst working on the John Lewis iPad app I continuously tweaked and applied the Google Design Sprint process. This creative and iterative way of working may be one reason why it won the 'most effective tablet app' EMMA award.

Cook Well from Waitrose
A challenging but lovely project - Cook Well is a food subscription service from one of the UK's most upmarket grocers. The launch of this product involved plenty of user research, prototyping and testing. This all helped to shape the offerings general direction, brand and online experience.

John Lewis Home Solutions
The John Lewis Partnership’s first step into on-demand services produced some enjoyable challenges leading to it's launch in 2017. My job was to ensure this project was suitably executed with its parent brands emphasis on trust during its trial in various UK regions.
This included customer research, running creative sprints, user experience mapping and final UI design.
