Here's a few design samples
from the past 10 years
Live Radar Ident
A photographic ident I created for a gig finding website 'Live Radar'. The service used your location and scanned a selection of feeds such as myspace to provide a list of nearby gigs.
It's full of stars
In my spare time I study Planetary Science with Astronomy at Birkbeck university. The course has been a fantastic experience and during the university holidays I use my design skills to try and explain some of the most interesting learnings. The result of which is often in the form of informative posters or greetings cards sold in some London shops and on Etsy.
Think Journals
Mobile first responsive website design for sketchbook and journal company Think Journals. The UI was intended to be as simple and informative as possible with an emphasis on giving the customer a real sense for the products being sold.
Other projects
Cook Well from Waitrose
A challenging but lovely project - Cook Well is a food subscription service from one of the UK's most upmarket grocers. The launch of this product involved plenty of user research, prototyping and testing. This all helped to shape the offerings general direction, brand and online experience.
John Lewis Home Solutions
The John Lewis Partnership’s first step into on-demand services produced some enjoyable challenges leading to it's launch in 2017. My job was to ensure this project was suitably executed with its parent brands emphasis on trust during its trial in various UK regions.
This included customer research, running creative sprints, user experience mapping and final UI design.
John Lewis Shopping Apps
I'm happy to say that during my 3 years in the John Lewis apps team I had the opportunity to research and design everything from core shopping journeys, navigation, inspiration and account maintenance. When necessary I ran 5 day Google style design sprints and during this time refined a few approaches to developing creative solutions that work well as a team.
