Remembering driving into L.A in August 2005 at night coming from Las Vegas listening to this heat track. Kevin Howbrook was driving and I was with Stella Kim, Ross Barnes, Gareth Martin-Royle on an epic journey across the states!
‘Live Radar‘ is a new site by Paul Barton which allows users to enter in their location and view all the nearest music gigs happening around them ordered by date. The site uses feeds from myspace and Last FM and provides a really useful service to people who are looking for a good night and want to get a list of their options very quickly. The site also allows you to search for a particular band or venue for people who have something a little more specific in mind. Paul asked me to put together the look and feel of the site and has had very good response from the final design.
Walked up ‘Gallt y Felin Wynt‘ and planted a tree whilst the deer watched.
The photos below were taken towards the end of 2010 in a wintery Leeds and snow covered mystical Wales where I spent Christmas. They were taken on my new old camera which is a gorgeous Kodak Retinette. I found the camera in a bric and brac shop in my home town of Abergele. I am still learning how to use it and the below photos are from my first film in this camera. even though the photos are blurry and over exposed this has created a kind of mystical/magical reminiscent feel to the photos which I love.

I’ve uploaded a few pics from a recent visit to lovely Edinburgh to my flickr account.

Myself and a few friends have been very busy with some website releases, the first of which is Pro-Active Adventure, there will be a few more updates to come on the others (Including some Warp records related work).

Just got back from Cornwall this week, I was on a road trip with Paul Barton and it was absolutely brilliant. The above pic is of us discovering a tidal beach at Kynance cove, I’ll post up some more pics on my flickr account soon.

Not long ago I booked a trip to New York and I can’t wait! It will be the second time I visit the city and I’ll be going with some people I really don’t see enough of. Two of which are fashion designers – Ross Barnes and Caroline Carrig, can’t wait to spend time with these guys and have an amazing time in the big apple. We are going to be visiting and staying with Stella Kim an interactive designer at Razorfish. It’s going to be brilliant! I will definitely take a multitude of photographic equipment with me.
I have set up a flickr account, why not ey! For a while I have thought the flickr interface was clunky and not at all user friendly. However now I have been playing with it for a few days I have to say it has grown on me, I especially like the slide show feature. Anyway check out my pics here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/59088979@N00/
Most of the photos were taken using an old lomo camera, hence the slightly crap but kinda cool look to a lot of them.
