Back from the beach
Wednesday, June 30th, 2010
Just got back from Cornwall this week, I was on a road trip with Paul Barton and it was absolutely brilliant. The above pic is of us discovering a tidal beach at Kynance cove, I’ll post up some more pics on my flickr account soon.
NYC 2010 Trip Booked
Sunday, May 2nd, 2010
Not long ago I booked a trip to New York and I can’t wait! It will be the second time I visit the city and I’ll be going with some people I really don’t see enough of. Two of which are fashion designers - Ross Barnes and Caroline Carrig, can’t wait to spend time with these guys and have an amazing time in the big apple. We are going to be visiting and staying with Stella Kim an interactive designer at Razorfish. It’s going to be brilliant! I will definitely take a multitude of photographic equipment with me.
Got a flickr account
Tuesday, April 27th, 2010I have set up a flickr account, why not ey! For a while I have thought the flickr interface was clunky and not at all user friendly. However now I have been playing with it for a few days I have to say it has grown on me, I especially like the slide show feature. Anyway check out my pics here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/59088979@N00/
Most of the photos were taken using an old lomo camera, hence the slightly crap but kinda cool look to a lot of them.
New Parsonage - House of Art and Design
Thursday, August 13th, 2009
Just found these old picture’s from my final year of university, at the time I was living with some good friends in London and it was brilliant! Especially because we were a mixture of graphic designers, artists and fashion designers and the house we were living in (New Parsonage) was massive and a brilliant sociable space. These photo’s were used on my old website to promote the little artist collective we had going on in the house. Below are a couple of pics of some of the New Parsonage housemates.
‘
Some of the guys have websites of their own now:
Ross Barnes - Fashion designer
Gareth Martin Royle - Graphic designer
Stella Kim - Interaction designer
Caroline Carrig - Fashion/Textile designer
Kevin Brian Howbrook - Artist/designer
Wales - I Loves it.
Thursday, May 7th, 2009Wales - brilliant.
The Lemon Life
Thursday, May 7th, 2009Launched on Saturday 9th of May 2009, this is my first trans-atlantic project! ‘The Lemon Life’ is an organisation based in Toronto which offers advice and help to people in the inbetween phases of life just before and just after graduating from university. So understandably this site has taken on a kind of online newspaper feel, full of interesting bits and bobs for its young proffessional audience. The site was built using a wordpress cms system, which suits the site greatly, I;m really looking forward to seeing this get populated with much more content and whatch the project grow using the system in place. www.thelemonlife.com
flip-tshirts.co.uk

FLIP T-shirts is my latest brand of clothing to be released in an online store. You can take a look at these tees at www.flip-tshirts.com. Flip tees is bascially a mixture of my other two brands: ‘boobookachoo‘ and ‘dialect t-shirts’ but in black and white! The idea being that everything looks much cooler/better when its in black and white. The site has a few gimmicks, you can flip between two site styles a black version or a white version, you can also flip a t-shirt at any time from black or white to its opposite. This site has been a learning experience for me as it is my first ecomerce site with its own cms using wordpresses amazing package!
The Interactive World of Boobookachoo
Saturday, March 14th, 2009I run an online t-shirt shop called ‘boobookachoo‘. This shop has been a creative vent for me for the past two years, it’s where I tend to put my most experimental ideas in practice. The most recent project I am currently undertaking within boobookachoo is the new ‘world’ section. The basic idea is to attract more people to the site and keep them entertained through a crazy but fun interactive world full of games and visualy pleasing mazes. This project is also aimed at existing customers who already love boobookachoo’s designs and want to see a bit more into the mind and background behind the t-shirt designs. This all ties in quite nicely as people will be able to find t-shirts related too and inspired by the interactive world as it grows ever larger! Its a never ending project which fills any idle time quite well. check it out at: http://www.boobookachoo.com/world/intro.html
